DC Surge Protective Device – 2 Pole, 40kA (YRO YRSP-D2)

Protect your solar PV and DC power systems with the YRO YRSP-D2 DC Surge Protective Device, a Type 2 (T2) surge arrester engineered specifically for photovoltaic installations. It is installed at the outlet of photovoltaic panels with high risk of direct lightning strikes and provides common and differential mode protection for DC voltages. Designed to be installed in parallel on the DC side of the network, it’s recommended at both ends of the DC power line — on the solar panel side and the inverter/converter side — especially for long external cable runs.

Each unit features high-energy MOVs equipped with thermal disconnectors and a visible failure indicator (green window = operating normally, red = module needs replacement). The fully enclosed terminals and flame-retardant PC housing ensure safety, while the replaceable plug-in module design allows for quick maintenance without rewiring.
